Client Relations / Business DevelopmentThe Key Accounts Manager is responsible for managing existing key and VIP clients for Facilities Management (FM) AMC contracts and Furniture Fit-Out projects, ensuring client satisfaction, contract renewals, and identification of new business opportunities. The role emphasizes long-term relationship building, proactive client engagement, supplier coordination, budget-driven quotation strategy, and solution-based selling.
- Manage assigned existing and VIP clients as the primary point of contact.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and review sessions to ensure service satisfaction.
- Proactively check if clients are happy with current FM services and furniture installations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their operational and workspace needs.
- Manage FM AMC contract lifecycle, including renewal planning and negotiation.
- Track contract expiry dates and initiate renewal discussions well in advance.
- Identify service gaps or improvement areas and propose value-added solutions.
- Ensure smooth coordination between client, operations, and service teams.
- Retain existing AMC clients by improving service quality and commercial competitiveness.Identify furniture replacement, expansion, or refurbishment needs within existing clients.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and installation teams for fit-out projects.
- Propose optimized furniture layouts based on budget, space utilization, and client preference.
- Ensure timely delivery and installation with minimal disruption to client operations.
- Regularly follow up with clients to identify new or upcoming requirements.
- Convert existing clients into repeat customers for additional FM services or furniture projects.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
- Develop account growth plans to increase revenue per client.
- Build and maintain a strong and reliable supplier network (FM vendors, furniture manufacturers, installers).
- Negotiate competitive pricing, service levels, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure suppliers meet quality, compliance, and service expectations.
- Maintain alternate supplier options to support budget and timeline flexibility.
- Engage the client to clearly understand their budget expectations.
- Rework quotations by optimizing scope, materials, or service frequency without compromising quality.
- Propose alternative furniture models, finishes, or phased execution plans.
- Negotiate revised pricing with suppliers to meet client budget.Apply value engineering and cost-effective solutions.
- Capture client budget insights for future proposals.Align future quotations closely with client budget and expectations.
- Offer multiple pricing options (Good / Better / Best) for client decision-making.
