Duties

- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, cooperation, and active participation among students.
- Use innovative learning technology and teaching methods to enhance student understanding and engagement.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through behavior management strategies and individualized support for children with special needs or autism.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support each child's unique developmental journey, including early intervention programs.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Mentor new teachers or teaching assistants, providing guidance on curriculum development, classroom management, and instructional best practices.
Skills
- Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting, including classroom experience in private or Montessori schools.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and library services.
- Ability to incorporate learning technology into daily lessons to support diverse learning styles.
- Skilled in behavior management strategies and working with children with autism or special education needs.
- Experience with standardized testing procedures and tutoring to reinforce learning concepts.
- Writing skills for documenting student progress and preparing reports for education administration.
- Familiarity with teaching physical education, classroom management techniques, and early childhood education frameworks such as Montessori methods.
