The Kitchen Artist will be responsible for creating exceptional food presentations and artistic displays that reflect the elegance and luxury of Royal Saray Resort. This role demands creativity, precision, and a fine dining background to elevate guest experiences through visually stunning culinary artistry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute artistic presentations for buffets, banquets, events, and à la carte service.
- Create decorative food elements such as fruit and vegetable carvings, chocolate and sugar showpieces, and other fine dining garnishes.
- Collaborate with chefs to ensure harmony between food taste and presentation.
- Maintain consistency and excellence in plating across all outlets.
- Innovate and develop new display concepts that align with luxury hospitality trends.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of tools and perishable decorative items.
- Train and inspire junior staff in artistic techniques and plating standards.
- Uphold hygiene and food safety regulations in all preparation and display areas.
- Support the culinary team during high-volume events and special occasions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Artist in a luxury fine dining restaurant or 5-star hotel (mandatory).
- Expertise in fruit and vegetable carving, chocolate and sugar work, and decorative food presentation.
- Strong artistic vision with attention to detail, color, and design.
- Ability to innovate and adapt to evolving fine dining trends.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment including weekends and holidays.
