Job Title: Kitchen Helper

Reports To: Chef de Partie / Sous Chef / Head Chef

Job Purpose:
To assist the kitchen team in food preparation, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness, and ensuring smooth operations within the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs and cooks in basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, marinating meats, etc.).
• Clean and maintain kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and rotate stock as needed.
• Dispose of kitchen waste according to hygiene and safety standards.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and organizing supplies in the kitchen.
• Support kitchen staff in plating, serving, and other tasks as required.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Job Requirements / Criteria:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred but not always required.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physically able to stand for long periods, lift moderately heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to learn and assist in various kitchen tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR1.00 per month
