Job Description:

BME is seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Helper (Pastry-Baking) to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in assisting our pastry and baking team in preparing high-quality baked goods. If you have experience in the pastry/baking industry, a valid Food Handling Certificate (FHC), and a valid QID, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pastry chefs in preparing and baking a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking areas.
• Ensure all ingredients are properly measured and prepared.
• Follow safety and hygiene standards, adhering to Food Handling regulations.
• Assist in the storage and management of inventory for baking supplies.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained regularly.

Requirements:

• Experience in pastry or baking (must be reflected on CV).
• Valid Food Handling Certificate (FHC).
• Valid QID (Metrash copy required).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
