About The Role
At Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, the Kitchen & Laundry Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all kitchen and laundry equipment across the property. This role ensures that our culinary and housekeeping teams can operate smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the exceptional guest experience the Four Seasons is known for.
What you will do

Perform regular preventive maintenance and repairs on kitchen and laundry appliances, including ovens, grills, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and steamers.

Troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve faults efficiently to minimize downtime.

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and Four Seasons standards.

Respond promptly to urgent maintenance calls from culinary, stewarding, and housekeeping departments.

Maintain detailed records of service logs, repairs, and parts usage.

Collaborate with the Engineering team to support the overall upkeep of the property’s mechanical systems.

Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary.

Assist with installations of new kitchen and laundry equipment as required.
What you bring
-
Technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, or maintenance engineering.

Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining kitchen and/or laundry equipment, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.

Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and gas systems as they relate to appliance functionality.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Basic proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
