Job Title: R&D Team Member

Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented R&D (Research & Development) Team Member to work directly under the supervision of our Head Chef at Famous O’s Pizza. This role involves developing and improving recipes across Pizzas, Breads, and Desserts. If you enjoy experimenting with both savory and sweet items, this position is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in developing and testing new pizzas, sauces, breads, and desserts
• Improve existing recipes for better flavor, texture, consistency, and presentation
• Standardize finalized recipes for daily operations (portion, method, timing, ingredients)
• Maintain detailed documentation of recipe trials, adjustments, and results
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout all R&D processes
• Support the Head Chef in creating seasonal items, specials, and new product launches

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of cooking, baking, or dessert preparation
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
• Ability to follow instructions and work closely with the Head Chef
• Strong attention to detail and accurate note-taking
• Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety protocols
• Flexible schedule — ability to work evenings and weekends
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in recipe development, bakery items, pizza preparation, or culinary arts
• 1–2 years experience in a commercial kitchen, bakery, or restaurant setting
• Interest in breads, desserts, and flavor development
