Key ResponsibilitiesKitchen Operations
- Supervise day-to-day kitchen activities including food preparation, cooking, and service.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served on time as per menu schedules.
- Monitor portion control, food quality, taste, and presentation.
Staff Supervision
- Allocate duties to cooks, helpers, and kitchen assistants.
- Ensure staff adhere to hygiene, grooming, and safety standards.
- Train and guide kitchen staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain staff attendance and duty rosters.
Menu & Dietary Compliance
- Ensure adherence to approved menus, including special diets for elderly residents (diabetic, low-salt, soft diet, etc.).
- Coordinate with dietician, nurse, or management for dietary requirements.
- Ensure nutritional standards suitable for senior citizens.
Food Safety & Hygiene
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines).
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials, cooked food, and leftovers.
- Monitor cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and dining areas.
- Ensure pest control and waste management procedures are followed.
Inventory & Stores Management
- Monitor stock levels of groceries, vegetables, and consumables.
- Raise purchase requisitions and avoid shortages or wastage.
- Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) method in stores.
- Keep records of daily consumption and inventory.
Equipment & Maintenance
- Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Report breakdowns and coordinate repairs with maintenance team.
- Ensure gas, electrical, and fire safety compliance.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily kitchen reports, temperature logs, and hygiene checklists.
- Report incidents, shortages, or non-compliance to management.
- Assist during audits and inspections.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
