Kitchen Supervisor – Cloud Kitchen & Production

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Kitchen Supervisor to manage daily operations across a central cloud kitchen and production hub serving two restaurant brands. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership qualities, exceptional communication skills with suppliers and team members, and a thorough understanding of UAE food safety regulations. This role requires hands-on involvement in production, inventory, compliance, and recipe development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Kitchen Operations & Production
  • Oversee daily food production for multiple restaurant brands from a central kitchen
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of prepared items to outlets
  • Maintain and improve operational efficiency and kitchen workflows
  • Team Leadership & Staff Management
  • Supervise and motivate a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen helpers
  • Provide on-the-job training and ensure adherence to recipes and SOPs
  • Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance
  • Supplier Coordination & Procurement
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers for ordering, pricing, and quality control
  • Verify incoming goods and ensure compliance with specifications
  • Inventory & Cost Control
  • Conduct daily and weekly inventory checks
  • Monitor food wastage and implement cost-saving practices
  • Track and report food cost, usage, and production yield
  • Compliance & Food Safety
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE Municipality and HACCP regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards at all times
  • Keep records ready for inspections and audits
  • Menu & Recipe Development
  • Assist in developing and standardizing new dishes in coordination with management
  • Update and maintain recipe cards and production sheets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar kitchen supervisory or head chef role
  • Proven experience in cloud kitchens, multi-brand production, or central kitchens
  • Strong knowledge of UAE food safety regulations and best practices
  • Proficient in using kitchen software for inventory, procurement, and scheduling
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead by example
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with platforms like Grubtech, Supy, or other F&B systems
  • Ability to analyze food cost reports and adjust recipes accordingly
  • Creativity in menu planning and optimizing kitchen output
