Egypt Education Platform is thrilled to announce an opening for a KS1 Homeroom Teacher for the academic year 2026-2027 at our esteemed school, GEMS British International School in Madinaty . We are looking for a motivated educator who is passionate about fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for our Key Stage 1 students, instilling a love for learning and providing a strong foundation for their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that align with the national curriculum for Key Stage 1
• Assess, monitor, and document student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual student growth
• Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and social interaction
• Encourage parental involvement in their child's education through effective communication and regular updates on progress
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to develop integrated curriculum plans that enhance the overall learning experience
• Participate in professional development opportunities and stay informed about best practices in education
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Hold a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience within a KS1 setting
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies for young learners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all students
• Enthusiastic and creative approach to teaching and learning
