Lab In Charge

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Lab Incharge to oversee operations in our Civil Testing Laboratory. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of construction material testing, effective team management skills, and a commitment to quality and safety. This role involves managing daily laboratory activities, supervising test procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the civil materials testing lab.
• Supervise testing of construction materials such as concrete, cement, soil, aggregates, bitumen, etc.
• Ensure all tests are conducted in accordance with relevant standards (IS, ASTM, BS, or ISO).
• Review and approve test reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients to ensure timely delivery of results.
• Train and guide lab technicians on test procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor calibration and maintenance schedules of lab equipment.
• Maintain quality control as per ISO/IEC 17025 or NABL guidelines (if applicable).
• Handle procurement of materials and inventory control.
