Lab Pathologist - Gharo

HRCONSOL is looking for Pathologist - Gharo for leading Healthcare NGO in Pakistan.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and sign off pathology, hematology, microbiology, and biochemistry reports.
• Provide expert consultation on complex or critical diagnostic findings.
• Ensure implementation of QA/QC protocols.
• Supervise lab personnel and monitor equipment performance.
• Coordinate with clinicians for result interpretation and further testing guidance.
• Develop and update SOPs for lab testing and biosafety.
• Participate in proficiency testing and external QA programs.
• Support training and capacity-building of lab staff.
• Ensure compliance with PMDC, PHL, and regulatory standards.

Additional Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits and ensure lab accreditation readiness
• Advise on procurement of reagents and laboratory equipment
• Support digital reporting systems and EMR integration
• Mentor junior pathologists or medical officers (if required)

Job Requirements:

Qualifications: MCPS/FCPS with Valid PMDC

Experience: Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience in laboratory with expertise in hematology, histopathology, and clinical pathology will be preferred.

Shift: Monday - Saturday (9:00AM to 4:00PM)
