LOCATION: Dammam- Eastern Province-Saudi Arabia

DEPARTMENT: QUALITY

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Purpose
• Performs specimen preparation or laboratory tests as applicable.

Main Responsibilities
• Performs specimen preparation/laboratory tests according to applicable standards and/or internal documents.
• Reports specimen/test results and checks against applicable specifications.
• Assists in the resolution of detected problems.
• Identifies opportunities of improvement of laboratory processes and proposes preventive actions.
• Verifies the application and development of safety standards.

Requirements for the position

Bachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering.
Experience at least 2y in similar role.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Knowledge in testing methodologies applied to steel material.
Essential knowledge of ISO 17025 is desired.
