Lady Cashier Retail Sales

Position Overview

The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service by handling transactions accurately and efficiently. This role ensures smooth checkout operations, maintains a clean and organized work area, and supports overall store operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them during checkout.
  • Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and change as required.
  • Scan items, ensure pricing accuracy, and bag merchandise properly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station.
  • Answer customer inquiries and direct them to appropriate departments.
  • Monitor cash drawer levels and report discrepancies immediately.
  • Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining product displays when needed.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong numerical and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in retail as cashier preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
