Land Surveyor

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

Surveying & Data Collection

  • Conduct topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Use Total Station, GPS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare accurate survey drawings and site layouts.
  • Establish control points and benchmarks for project reference and construction activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date survey records, field notes, and data files.

Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with project engineers, architects, and site teams to provide required survey data and updates.
  • Verify site levels, alignments, and dimensions to ensure compliance with approved drawings.
  • Assist in setting out works, checking elevations, and verifying completed works on-site.
  • Ensure timely submission of survey reports, drawings, and as-built documentation.

Authority & Compliance

  • Ensure all survey works comply with Dubai Municipality, RTA, and other local authority standards.
  • Support documentation and submissions required for authority approvals and NOCs.

Client & Management Interaction

  • Participate in project meetings to present survey results and discuss site progress.
  • Coordinate with the project management team to ensure accuracy and efficiency of survey operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or Land Surveying.
  • 3–7 years of relevant UAE experience in construction surveying.
  • Proficient in Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
  • Strong understanding of site layout, leveling, and measurement principles.
  • Knowledge of UAE authority regulations and surveying standards.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple site assignments.
