Project Quantity Surveyor

ob Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with proven experience in steel structure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, contract management, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for steel structure projects.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate pricing, and assist in contract finalization.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial progress reports.
• Conduct regular site measurements, quantity take-offs, and valuations.
• Review and certify subcontractor invoices and payment applications.
• Assist in claims, variations, and contract administration.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure financial efficiency.
• Maintain records of all project costs and prepare detailed reports for management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of UAE experience as a Quantity Surveyor in steel structure construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, erection methods, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS-related software.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
