Key responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys: Perform land and boundary surveys using equipment like GPS, total stations, and theodolites to determine property lines and measurements.
- Analyze and interpret data: Research historical maps, legal documents, and survey records to gather information and analyze survey data.
- Create documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys.
- Ensure accuracy: Verify the accuracy of all data, measurements, and calculations. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations.
- Collaborate with professionals: Work with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide critical data and expert advice on projects.
- Ensure compliance: Ensure all surveys meet legal, regulatory, and governmental standards.
- Supervise teams: Oversee and train assistant surveyors and technicians on fieldwork and data collection.
- Present findings: Present survey results and findings to clients and other stakeholders.
Required skills:
- Proficiency with surveying equipment (GPS, total stations, theodolites)
