Land Surveyor

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of surveying principles, proficiency in various surveying technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively on construction projects.

• Perform field surveys: Conduct precise land and field surveys, geodetic calculations, and structural inspections using equipment such as total stations, levels, and GPS.
• Data analysis and reporting: Analyze collected data, prepare detailed reports, and create accurate maps and plans using specialized software like AutoCAD and GIS.
• Ensure compliance: Ensure all surveying activities comply with local UAE land laws, regulations, and specific project requirements, such as RTA standards.
• Quality control: Perform quality checks and verify the accuracy of survey data and calculations.
• Collaboration: Work with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide essential survey information and resolve discrepancies.
• Equipment maintenance: Maintain and calibrate all surveying equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Project support: Assist in setting out points, checking levels, and verifying service locations on construction sites.

Required skills and qualifications

• Education: A bachelor's or diploma in surveying, geomatics, or a related field is typically required.
• Experience: Experience in the UAE, particularly on infrastructure, roads, or bridge projects, is highly beneficial.
• Technical skills: Advanced proficiency with surveying equipment (GPS, total station) and software (AutoCAD, GIS, MicroStation).
• Analytical skills: Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Communication skills: Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local UAE land laws and international surveying standards.
