Landscape - Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Civil Engineer to plan, design, and oversee the civil engineering aspects of landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in civil engineering with knowledge of landscaping requirements to ensure outdoor spaces are structurally sound, functional, and visually appealing. This role involves close collaboration with landscape architects, contractors, and site teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• 3–7 years of proven experience in civil and structural engineering, with exposure to landscape and fit-out projects.
• Strong background in structural and civil engineering including foundations, retaining walls, pavements, drainage, and hardscape structures.
• Experience in designing and implementing landscape civil works such as walkways, plazas, irrigation systems, retaining structures, and outdoor facilities.
• Ability to prepare and review construction drawings, structural calculations, and material specifications.
• Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, including landscape architects, civil engineers, and contractors.
• Knowledge of site preparation, grading, drainage solutions, and soil stabilization techniques.
• Ability to conduct site inspections, quality control, and technical supervision of construction works.
• Familiarity with cost estimation, BOQs, and project scheduling for landscape civil projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred for senior roles).
• Member of Society of Engineers in UAE
• Additional certification in Landscape Architecture/Urban Design (advantageous).
• Professional Engineer (PE) / Chartered Engineer (CEng) / RERA / equivalent local authority registration.
• Certifications in Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2) or AutoDesk/BIM software.
• Civil & structural design principles, load calculations, and structural safety compliance.
• Landscape engineering knowledge: grading, irrigation, drainage, retaining walls, paving, soft & hard landscape integration.
• Fit-out execution: structural modifications, MEP coordination, finishing works.
• Software: AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, ETABS, MS Project/Primavera, and landscape design tools.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
