Landscape - Civil Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Landscape Civil Engineer with valid SOE (Society of Engineers – UAE) membership and a UAE Driving License. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and executing landscape and civil infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with local authority standards, project specifications, and HSE regulations.

The candidate must have strong site execution experience in landscape civil works including irrigation systems, drainage networks, and hardscape construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study site conditions including topography, soil, drainage, vegetation, and climate.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies.
• Develop master plans for landscape development.
• Design grading plans to control slopes and elevations.
• Plan cut and fill operations to balance earthwork.
• Ensure proper surface drainage and accessibility.
• Design stormwater drainage systems such as swales, drains, retention ponds, and infiltration systems.
• Implement sustainable drainage solutions (rain gardens, bioswales, permeable surfaces).
• Prevent flooding and soil erosion.
• Design and coordinate of Pathways and walkways, Roads and parking areas, Retaining walls, Irrigation systems, Lighting and utility services.
• Ensure minimal environmental impact.
• Protect existing trees and natural features.
• Integrate sustainable landscape practices such as water-efficient irrigation and native plant use.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Valid SOE (Society of Engineers – UAE) Membership (Mandatory)
• Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory)
• Minimum 4–8 years of experience in civil and landscape projects
• UAE experience preferred

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of landscape civil works and infrastructure
• Experience in irrigation systems and drainage networks
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• AutoCAD proficiency (Mandatory)
• Basic knowledge of MS Project or Primavera (Preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
