Landscape Design Assistant/Intern

LCI Landscapes is seeking to hire a Landscape Design Assistant/Intern. LCI Landscapes has been designing and building residential landscape projects throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin for the past 25 years.

The Design Assistant/Intern will work directly with the Design and Estimating Team, learning our systems and providing support to the team. The individual will become proficient with designing and estimating landscape projects under the direct supervision of our design team members. Ideally this candidate will grow into a full time position within our growing company.

Daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately Estimating Jobs
• Drawing 2d and 3d designs to meet Designer specifications.
• Assisting Design team with preparing awarded jobs for scheduling.
• Assisting Managing Partner with daily tasks.
• Learning to become go to person for Maintenance Properties.
• Submitting material orders to vendors for pick-up and/or delivery.
• Submitting ITIC tickets prior to job start.
• Additional tasks and duties to be added as individuals proficiency allows.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must be proficient with Pro Landscape (Landscape design software), or other CAD program, and Microsoft Office.

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to get along well with others and work as part of a growing team.

Attention to details

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (not mandatory, but would be beneficial):

Working towards a Degree in Landscape Design, Architecture or related field.

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 1 year (Required)
