Landscape Designer – Design Build & Sales

Canopy Landscapes is hiring a Landscape Designer & Sales Representative to support both residential and commercial design-build projects. This role blends landscape and hardscape design, estimating, and client-facing sales. Ideal candidates are design-savvy, organized, and comfortable guiding projects from first meeting through contract.

Responsibilities

• Meet with residential and commercial clients to assess sites, needs, and budgets
• Create landscape and hardscape designs from concept through construction documents
• Design patios, walkways, retaining walls, plazas, site features, and related elements
• Prepare accurate project estimates and proposals
• Use LMN or comparable estimating software for pricing and job costing
• Present designs and proposals and close projects
• Coordinate project handoff to operations and support construction as needed
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure buildable designs

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape design-build (residential and/or commercial)
• Proficiency in Vectorworks for landscape and hardscape design, or other CAD or comparable design software
• Experience estimating landscape construction projects
• Strong understanding of hardscape materials and construction methods
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred

• Experience using LMN
• Degree or training in landscape architecture, landscape design, or related field
• Sales experience in a design-build environment
