Landscape Foreman/Supervisor

The Landscape Foreman/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and leading landscape crews in the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of residential and commercial landscaping projects. This role ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong horticultural knowledge and experience managing field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of landscape technicians and laborers on daily job sites.
• Interpret and execute landscape plans, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Coordinate scheduling, materials, equipment, and manpower to meet project timelines.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as skid steers, mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Ensure safety protocols and company procedures are followed on-site.
• Train and mentor crew members in proper techniques and best practices.
• Monitor quality control to ensure high standards in planting, irrigation, hardscape, and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Document work progress, hours, and materials used.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues related to irrigation systems, plant health, or unexpected jobsite conditions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional landscaping or horticulture education a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of landscape construction or maintenance experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Proficient in landscape installation, hardscaping, irrigation systems, and turf/plant care.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape drawings and blueprints.
