Duties

• Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including trimming, digging, and installing landscape features
• Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, and retaining walls using appropriate tools and techniques
• Perform lawn care activities including aeration, fertilization, and irrigation system installation or repair
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
• Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and basic repairs to ensure safety and efficiency during projects
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge with an understanding of how to operate hand tools and power tools safely
• Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques such as planting, irrigation setup, tree care, and hardscape installation is a plus
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills in construction, horticulture, and equipment operation
• Valid driver’s license is preferred; experience operating machinery like excavators is advantageous but not mandatory
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward safety and quality workmanship
