Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers using hand tools and power tools
• Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, and shrub shaping to promote growth and safety
• Operate equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and any other landscape tools with proper safety procedures
• Support hardscape construction projects by laying pavers, retaining walls, or pathways
• Conduct routine landscape maintenance including weed control, mulching, and soil preparation
• Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for various landscaping tasks while adhering to safety standards

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and effectively
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques such as pruning, tree care, and gardening
• Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools confidently for diverse tasks
• Understanding of horticulture principles for plant health and landscape design support
• Ability to perform snow plowing during winter months and assist with seasonal outdoor tasks
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining high-quality landscapes
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
