Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces pristine
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for planting, digging, and installing landscape features
• Support the installation of hardscape elements including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures
• Perform lawn care activities like aeration, fertilization, and irrigation system installation or repair
• Help with tree care tasks such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, weeds, and excess materials to ensure a professional appearance
• Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterization to keep properties accessible year-round

Experience

• Prior experience with landscaping or gardening is necessary, training will be provided.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating various landscaping machinery and tools effectively
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and horticulture principles is advantageous
• Hands-on experience with hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) is beneficial
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care practices including trimming and planting, and hardscape installation enhances your suitability for this role
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
