Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as trimming trees, installing hardscape features, or maintaining irrigation systems
• Support the installation and repair of irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth and water efficiency
• Perform lawn care duties such as aerating, fertilizing, and weed control to maintain lush turf areas
• Contribute to snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways
• Help with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal under supervision to promote safety and tree health
• Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
• Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is preferred
• Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and tree trimming is advantageous
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently
• Willingness to learn new skills related to irrigation, snow plowing, or other seasonal tasks
• Prior experience in landscaping or construction environments is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
