Due to our continued growth as a company, we are seeking a driven, dedicated, and team-oriented individual to join the Provost Companies team as a Landscape Maintenance Crew Member.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Foreman to lead a professional landscape maintenance crew servicing commercial and high-end residential properties. The Foreman is responsible for managing daily crew operations, ensuring quality standards, maintaining equipment, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

This role requires someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and can keep crews productive, safe, and efficient while maintaining the highest level of property care.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, train, coach and supervise a 2–6 person landscape maintenance crew

Perform and oversee routine maintenance including:

Mowing

Trimming and edging

Pruning shrubs and small trees

Mulching

Seasonal cleanups

Property detailing

Ensure all properties meet company quality standards

Train and mentor crew members

Maintain safe work practices and enforce safety procedures

Operate and maintain commercial landscape equipment including:

Zero-turn mowers

Walk-behind mowers

String trimmers

Backpack blowers

Hedge trimmers

Load, unload, and secure equipment and materials

Communicate with management regarding property issues, client requests, or crew needs

Complete daily job reports and ensure routes stay on schedule

Qualifications

3+ years of professional landscape maintenance experience

1+ year of crew leadership or foreman experience preferred

Strong knowledge of proper mowing, trimming, pruning, and plant care practices

Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment safely and efficiently

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (preferred)

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Ability to lift 40+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day

Compensation & Benefits:

o$24-30/hour (dependent on prior experience and skill level)
