About the Role

As GreenGrove Outdoors continues to grow, were looking for a hands-on leader who can bridge the gap between field operations and office coordination. The Landscape Operations Supervisor is a working leader responsible for overseeing daily crew activities, managing job flow, and supporting scheduling, materials, and client communication. This role is ideal for someone with both leadership skills and landscaping experience who wants to grow into a larger operations role as the company scales.

Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Execution

Lead and supervise field crews to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards
Perform work alongside the crew as needed, especially on high-priority jobs or training days
Maintain high-quality standards in all landscaping work, including mowing, pruning, planting, and cleanups
Be the on-site point of contact for property managers or clients

Scheduling & Coordination

Review daily schedules, assign crews, and adjust based on weather, priorities, or call-outs
Coordinate with the owner or office team to plan weekly production goals
Track job progress, labor hours, and material usage for each project

Safety & Training

Conduct daily huddles and safety check-ins
Ensure crews are using PPE and equipment properly
Support onboarding and field training for new technicians

Materials & Equipment

Assist in ordering and staging materials for upcoming work
Coordinate basic vehicle/equipment maintenance and ensure tools are stocked and clean
Communicate supply needs or shortages in advance

Communication & Reporting

Log daily job details, hours, and notes through Aspire or other tracking tools
Provide updates on crew performance, job site issues, or client feedback
Support basic client communication for site updates or changes

Requirements

2+ years of landscaping experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or foreperson role
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Ability to schedule and manage multiple crews and jobs
Experience operating and maintaining commercial landscaping equipment
Tech-savvy enough to use mobile apps for job tracking and scheduling
Valid drivers license with clean driving record (CDL preferred)
Able to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in all conditions, and lead by example

Compensation & Benefits

Starting salary: $56,000

Work Schedule

MondayFriday, 6:00 AM 4:00 PM (varies by season and workload)
Friday afternoons reserved for make-up time, prep, or wrap-up
Transportation provided from the shop to job sites

Offered compensation: $56,000/yr - $65,000/yr
