Landscape Technician

Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing commercial landscape firm under new ownership in the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco. We are actively expanding over the next 12–24 months and are looking for someone who wants to learn, grow, and build their career alongside the business.

What you'll do

• Work alongside experienced crew members in the field daily
• Maintain existing landscapes with occasional installation projects
• Assist with irrigation inspections, repair, and basic controller programming
• Lawn mowing, edging, and fertilizer application
• Operate mowers, trimmers, hedgers, and blowers
• Mulching, planting, and general landscape maintenance
• Learn to monitor plant health and identify pest and disease issues
• Contribute ideas as we build systems and processes for a scaling team

What we're looking for

1. 2–5 years of professional landscape experience in the field

2. Basic irrigation knowledge — a desire to learn installation, maintenance, and programming

3. Ability to work well as part of a small crew with a positive attitude

4. Growth mindset — we are investing in people who want to build something, not just work a job

5. Comfortable with power tools and hand equipment

6. Familiarity with plants, flowers, and trees common to the Bay Area

7. Reliable, punctual, and communicates clearly

8. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Bonus qualifications

Stand out from the crowd — these are not required but will be recognized:

+ Interest in irrigation systems and a willingness to develop that skill set

+ Any coursework or certification in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field

+ Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
