Overview:
Riverview Landscapes is seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscaping Crew Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance and have the ability to lead a team effectively while delivering exceptional service to our clients. This Crew Leader position will be responsible for managing and performing all field operations at a large educational campus. This includes all landscape maintenance services, such as mowing, pruning and leaf removal. Landscape crew would consist of a crew leader and two laborers. This is a working supervisor performing landscape maintenance services on site.

Responsibilities:

• Manages and schedules labor, equipment and material to accomplish production scheduled within established budgets
• Helps perform all daily activities and works beside crew members
• Ensures all work is completed in adherence to safety policies and guidelines
• Maintains proper inventory of materials, equipment and other supplies
• Supervise employees, keeping attendance records, enforcing proper uniform and safety equipment use and approving time cards
• Maintain day to day working knowledge of contract and work order in progress
• Daily reporting of work performed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years related experience
• Clean driving record and valid drivers license
• Proven experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping practices.
• Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques.
• Familiarity with construction processes related to landscaping projects.
• Expertise in tree care, gardening, horticulture, and plant identification.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
