Laser Designing Machine Operator

Responsible for operating laser cutting, engraving, and marking machines to create products from various materials. They must have strong mechanical and technical skills, as well as a good eye for detail, in order to accurately operate the machine and achieve the desired results.

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

• CNC/CAD Software: Proficiency in programs like AutoCAD.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of tooling, maintenance, and machine specs.
• Math & Measurement: Strong skills with fractions, decimals, and industrial math.
• Material Knowledge: Ability to identify different materials (steel, aluminum, acrylic).
• Safety & Quality: Adherence to ISO, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Design & Programming: Translate designs (blueprints, CAD files) into machine code (G-code).
• Machine Operation: Load materials, select lenses, set parameters (power, speed), and run the laser.
• Setup & Maintenance: Prepare raw materials, maintain tooling, and perform routine checks on the laser.
• Quality Control: Inspect cut parts for accuracy, ensuring they meet specifications.
• Production Support: Assemble finished products, manage workflow, and troubleshoot issues.
