Lawn Care Technician

Allied Tree & Lawn Care, a Connecticut based company is looking to fill one or two Fertilizer Technician positions in the lawn care field. We are looking for hard working, experienced, detail oriented people. We are a growing company and can hire immediately. This is a full time, seasonal position. In this position you will apply Fertilizer to residential and commercial properties.

Job requirements;

• Licensed pesticide applicator, CT DEEP (preferred)
• Z-spray experience (helpful)
• Must be able to lift/ move 50 lbs. consistently
• Must have a valid CT drivers license with clean driving record
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Must have legible handwriting
• Must maintain a professional appearance at all times

Responsibilities;

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Application of fertilizer to lawns following written and label instructions and regulations
• Diagnose and treat insect, disease and weeds
• Operate a company vehicle safely and to various stops
• Maintain vehicle and equipment through cleanliness, safety and maintenance
• Communicate with clients about questions and concerns

Hours/Days/ Schedule

• This is a full time, 40+ hour per week position
• Typically Monday through Friday in season March through November, some Saturday's apply.

Wages

• Pay depending on experience, licensing
