Lawn care technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Care Technician to join our dynamic landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy lawns and landscapes by performing a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks. Duties

• Mow lawns using power mowers and hand tools to ensure even, well-manicured grass surfaces.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, trimming, pruning, and shrubbery care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Operate and maintain equipment including excavators, snow plows, and other power tools safely and efficiently.
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens.
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to support healthy growth and safety.
• Assist with hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape features.
• Perform general gardening duties like planting flowers, mulching beds, and maintaining garden areas for optimal appearance.
• Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment.
• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or horticulture is highly preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including tree care, gardening practices, and hardscape installation.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, snow plowing equipment, and construction-related tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and operating machinery.
