Lawn Care Worker

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming and blowing to keep turf healthy and vibrant
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for landscape maintenance projects
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including weed control, mulching, and soil conditioning
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways
• Support tree care operations including trimming, pruning, or removal with proper techniques and safety measures
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience with landscaping tasks such as mowing, gardening, tree care, or trimming
• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and stick edgers
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and horticultural principles
• Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools safely and effectively
• Experience in construction or land development projects is a plus
• Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
• Must have reliable transportation - we meet at the same location every day
• Some landscaping experience preferred - willing to train the right employee

Hours are M - F 3:30 - 7:30, occasional Saturdays
