Lawn Care Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Worker to join our landscaping and maintenance team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various lawn and landscape maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and be comfortable operating a variety of tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in horticulture, landscaping, and construction-related tasks while contributing to the beautification of residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns using power tools and hand tools to ensure a neat and healthy appearance
• Perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, trimming trees, and shrubbery care
• Operate equipment such as lawn mowers, and snow plowing machinery when necessary
• Assist with construction projects related to landscape installation or renovation
• Use hand tools for planting, digging, or minor repairs around the property
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Ensure safety procedures are followed during all operations and work activities

Qualifications

• Prior experience or knowledge in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or lawn care is required
• Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, landscaping equipment, and small machinery is advantageous
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards
• Physical ability to perform outdoor labor including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license required
