Lawn Care Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and a strong understanding of lawn care practices. This role involves maintaining the health and appearance of residential and commercial properties through various landscaping tasks. The Lawn Care Specialist will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that all lawn care services are performed to the highest standards. Must have 2-5 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform mowing, edging, and trimming of lawns to maintain a neat appearance.
• Conduct groundskeeping tasks including weeding, mulching, and planting flowers or shrubs.
• Execute tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.
• Provide landscape maintenance services such as fertilization, aeration, and pest control.
• Assist in hardscape projects including building patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Dig holes for planting trees or shrubs as needed, ensuring proper depth and spacing.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Skills

• Proficient in lawn care techniques including mowing, groundskeeping, and landscape maintenance.
• Experience with tree trimming and hardscape installation is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for operating various landscaping tools and machinery.
• Ability to build structures such as patios or walkways is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
