Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Care Worker to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. Responsibilities

• Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers and push mowers to ensure even and healthy grass coverage.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including trimming trees and shrubs, pruning, edging, and planting flowers or shrubs to enhance aesthetic appeal.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, planting, aerating soil, or installing irrigation systems.
• Maintain and repair landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and excavators to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
• Conduct seasonal snow plowing operations to keep pathways clear during winter months.
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and assessing tree health to promote safety and growth.
• Collaborate with team members on irrigation setup and maintenance to ensure efficient water distribution across landscapes.
• Follow safety protocols consistently while working with construction tools, machinery, and landscaping materials.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or knowledge in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus.
• Ability to operate various hand tools safely and efficiently in outdoor environments.
• Basic understanding of horticulture principles including plant care and soil management.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
