Responsibilities

• Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers, push mowers, and trimmers to achieve well-manicured grass areas.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, planting, and weed control to enhance garden health and appearance.
• Operate hand tools and power equipment like shovels, rakes, blowers, and hedge trimmers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or installing components to ensure optimal watering schedules.
• Assist with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, or planting to promote healthy growth and safety.
• Support construction projects involving hardscape features like patios or walkways by preparing sites and installing materials.
• Conduct snow plowing during winter months using snow removal equipment to keep pathways accessible and safe.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge and experience with lawn care equipment and hand tools.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, trimming, planting, and irrigation systems.
• Experience working with power tools such as blowers, hedge trimmers, excavators or other construction machinery is preferred.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles related to gardening, tree care, and plant health management.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery like excavators or snow plows safely when required.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
