Lawyer

Air Charter Service are the largest aviation brokerage in the world, with over 700 employees across 36 offices globally.

As a result of our continued expansion, we are looking for a qualified lawyer with significant experience of working within American laws.

• Review and quality-check contracts and legal documents drafted by junior team members, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
• Negotiate and finalise complex international agreements, including client, supplier, and airline contracts.
• Provide clear, business-focused legal advice on cross-jurisdictional commercial and regulatory matters.
• Mentor and guide junior lawyers, offering feedback on drafting, negotiation strategy, and risk management.
• Oversee legal processes and contract management systems, ensuring efficiency and compliance with internal policies.
• Escalate material risks or sensitive issues and support business stakeholders in balancing legal and commercial objectives.
• Contribute to the development of legal playbooks, templates, and training to strengthen team capability.

• Qualified US lawyer (or former US practising lawyer) with experience in the US legal and regulatory system.
• Prior in-house experience essential
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts in a cross-jurisdictional or international context
• Experience in providing high-level legal advice, overseeing legal processes, and mentoring junior lawyers.
