THE DIVISION:

Campana Systems is an international leader in information solutions for the auto club industry. Since 1988, we have been enabling our clients to achieve their ongoing business objectives using our in-depth industry knowledge and trusted technology solutions. Our mission is to enable our auto club clients to achieve their strategic goals by providing leadership through effective innovative solutions and services.

THE POSITION:

We are building next-generation AI capabilities to enhance our product suite and internal operations for a one-year contract. As a Lead AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role defining and validating our AI architecture and governance. You will guide AI strategy, provide hands-on development leadership, and collaborate with senior architects, engineers, and product stakeholders to operationalize enterprise-grade AI services. The successful hire will work from the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad office as part of the resource-center team that is an extension of the division-based R&D department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the design, validation, and documentation of the enterprise AI architecture and governance model.
Architect secure, scalable AI/ML environments in cloud platforms for production use.
Guide the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into internal and customer-facing software products.
Provide technical leadership on ML pipelines, model lifecycle workflows, and model governance best practices.
Establish coding standards, development guidelines, and AI guardrails for engineering teams.
Actively contribute to the development and deployment of AI-enabled features and services.
Mentor and coach intermediate and junior AI/ML engineers.
Collaborate across teams to move AI use cases from prototype to production, ensuring robustness, monitoring, and scalability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, ML/AI, or related field.
Strong experience in applied AI/ML engineering roles.
Strong expertise with training, fine-tuning, or integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, LLaMA, etc.).
Proven track record designing and deploying ML systems at scale in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience building secure, enterprise AI infrastructure with CI/CD practices.
Proficiency with Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and API integration.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

GOOD TO HAVE:

Prior experience in a lead AI architect or principal engineer role.
Knowledge of MCP or similar emerging ML standards and protocols.
Experience with data governance frameworks and MLOps tooling.
