We are seeking a senior Lead Architect to provide technical authority, design leadership, and team direction across multiple concurrent projects. The role leads architectural deliverables from concept through authority submissions and issue, ensures compliance with Qatar regulations, and drives effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Client Interface and Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a senior client-facing focal point and manage complex interfaces and clarifications.
  • Translate requirements into clear design targets and guide the tea m toward a consistent design direction.

Architectural Leadership and Design Decision-Making

  • Lead design reviews and provide technical direction to ensure sound solutions, buildability, and consistency.
  • Conduct senior-level checks to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities prior to submissions.

Authority Approvals and Regulatory Compliance (Qatar)

  • Guide the team on Qatar authority requirements, approval processes, and submission readiness.
  • Coordinate life safety requirements with relevant specialists and ensure deliverables reflect approval pathways.

GSAS and Sustainability Integration

  • Oversee integration of GSAS and sustainability requirements into design and documentation.
  • Coordinate sustainability submissions and ensure compliance is maintained through project stages.

Workflow, Planning, and Team Leadership

  • Plan and organize workflow across projects, including priorities, task assignment, and deadlines.
  • Mentor and coach team members; establish accountability and improve performance through clear guidance.

Multidisciplinary Coordination and QA/QC

  • Drive coordination with MEP and Structural teams; resolve clashes and technical conflicts.
  • Implement structured QA/QC reviews prior to client issue and authority submissions.

Tendering and Proposal Support (When Required)

  • Support tendering inputs (area statements, deliverables, manpower estimates) and technical submissions as requested.
  • Advise on assumptions/exclusions, outsourced manpower needs, and milestone-based payment schedules.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture (Master's preferred).
  • Proven leadership delivering multiple projects concurrently, with strong submission discipline.
  • Demonstrated Qatar authority approval experience and regulatory compliance knowledge.
  • Strong multidisciplinary coordination capability; GSAS competency (certification preferred).
  • Excellent communication, planning, and decision-ma king skills; able to lead under pressure.
