Lead Bartender

Overview
We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Lead Bartender to join our staff.

Applicants should have the ability to create and cost cocktails. You would also have a good grasp on POS system use in general. We currently use SpotOn and it works well for what we need.

Ideal candidates will live within 30-40 minutes of the business.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Lead the team by contributing to the training of new staff on POS system, and advising the best customer service best practices.
• Help manage bar inventory, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and tracking usage to prevent shortages.
• Oversee other staff, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and the environment is welcoming.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
• Provide excellent service to guests and give customers an experience they remember and are inclined to come back for.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender with a strong background in food industry settings such as fine dining, nightclubs, or catering events.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; retail math skills are a plus.
• Exceptional time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills with an approachable attitude that makes guests feel valued.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling practices, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
