Server Job Summary

We are seeking a personable bartender & server to join our team. In this position, you will create an intimate and high-quality dining experience for guests. You will make drinks from our full bar to serve our dinner guests, You will answer customers’ questions, assist them with their choices, take their orders, and deliver their meals with a smile. We are looking for a candidate who is warm, and calm under pressure, and who knows how to be a team player, and work with a sense of urgency throughout the shift. We are especially looking for those available weekend nights.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly
• Create drinks for orders
• Answer questions about the wine & beer choices
• Answer questions about menu items
• Accurately take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
• Facilitate filling drink orders with the bar
• Offer assistance to patrons with specific needs, such as highchairs for children
• Memorize the menu for on-demand recitation and questions about ingredients
• Cleanliness oriented
• Use POS system to accurately calculate the patron’s bill
• Countdown till at the end of every shift
• Maintain all prep counts for drink menu
• Help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests

Requirements and Qualifications

• Knowledge of local wine and beers
• Knowledge craft cocktails and scratch made ingredients
• Basic math skills
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to lift-up to 50 pounds
• Familiarity with restaurant POS software, plus Ability to thrive in an active, noisy, and demanding environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
