Lead Bartender

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the bartending team to deliver outstanding service with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Oversee daily bar operations, including opening, closing, and shift management
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, alcohol service regulations, and health standards
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock to prevent shortages or waste
• Train staff on proper serving techniques, cash handling, and customer engagement strategies
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests by providing personalized service tailored to their preferences
• Assist with catering, banquet events, nightclub functions, and food handling as needed
• Uphold cleanliness standards in line with food safety protocols and sanitation requirements

Skills

• Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food service and hospitality
• Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transaction processing
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during busy shifts
• Strong sales ability to upsell beverages and promote specials to enhance revenue opportunities
• Prior experience in nightclub or banquet settings is highly desirable
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
• Familiarity with food safety practices, food handling procedures, and alcohol regulations
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks such as serving drinks, cashiering, catering coordination, and supervising staff
