BA Lead Role Overview:
As a
Business Analyst (BA) Lead
at Stewart, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the Business Analysis function. This position combines strategic direction, team development, and process governance to ensure that the BA team delivers consistent, high-quality business outcomes aligned with Stewart’s vision and global standards.
You will work closely with the
BA Manager, Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and cross-functional leaders
to define best practices, strengthen collaboration, and build a mature, data-driven Business Analysis discipline within Stewart.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Development

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Business Analysts, fostering accountability, ownership, and professional growth.

Partner with the BA Manager to set clear team objectives, KPIs, and structured performance management processes.

Drive onboarding, training, and capability-building initiatives to enhance analytical excellence and domain expertise.

Ensure adequate resource coverage during planned and unplanned absences while maintaining delivery continuity and quality.

Promote a culture of continuous feedback, collaboration, and innovation within the BA community.
2. Strategic Oversight & Governance

Define and enforce standardized BA methodologies, documentation templates, and governance frameworks in alignment with global standards.

Ensure the quality and accuracy of all BA deliverables, including business requirements, user stories, and process models.

Collaborate with leadership to align BA initiatives with organizational strategy and delivery goals.

Monitor and report on key metrics such as delivery timelines, documentation quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Support process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance BA productivity and business value.
3. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

Serve as a senior liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring clarity and alignment on priorities and deliverables.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, Project Managers, and QA leadership to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery.

Partner with US leadership to identify process improvement opportunities and define actionable strategies.

Drive consistent communication and alignment across onshore and offshore BA teams, ensuring adherence to Stewart’s corporate values.

Proactively identify and address risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies, providing data-driven insights to leadership.
4. Continuous Improvement & Capability Building

Drive the modernization of BA practices with data dashboards, automation, new tools, and updated best practices.

Partner with the US BA Manager to establish metrics and reporting frameworks using tools such as Azure Boards and Power BI.

Encourage knowledge sharing, certification pursuits, and cross-functional collaboration across the global BA community.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in
computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration
, or a related discipline.

12+ years
of experience in Business/System Analysis, including
3–5 years
in a leadership or supervisory role.

Proven track record in leading teams and driving measurable business impact.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
-
Expertise in
Agile methodologies
(Scrum, Kanban) with experience leading within iterative delivery models.

Proficiency in
Azure Boards, Power BI, Confluence
, and other collaboration tools.
-
Prior experience in
Title, Real Estate, or Financial Services
is a strong advantage.
