The Division
CSIPay, we are a technology-driven embedded payments platform company, enabling
Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and vertical SaaS providers to seamlessly integrate
secure, scalable payment capabilities directly into their software stack. Our mission is to
turn payments into a monetization opportunity for our partners while delivering modern,
compliant, and resilient digital transaction experiences.

The Position
We are seeking a DevOps Lead with strong hands-on cloud engineering skills and
leadership potential. This role is responsible for building, operating, and scaling our AWS
cloud-native platform—architected on domain-driven design principles with
containerized microservices deployed across multi-region, multi-account environments
under AWS Control Tower.
You will lead the infrastructure for our “secure by design” payments platform, ensuring
compliance with PCI DSS and collaborating closely with Corporate Compliance to meet
all security, regulatory, and operational needs.
This is a high-visibility, mission-critical role with a path to manage a rapidly growing
DevOps organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and expand DevOps processes, tooling, and operational maturity for our
cloud-native payments platform.
  • Architect, automate, and operate infrastructure in AWS using ** Terraform**, CI/CD
pipelines, container orchestration (EKS/ECS), networking, and observability.
  • Ensure platform security and compliance aligned with PCI DSS controls, working
tightly with Corporate Compliance and Security teams.
  • Act as a peer-level partner with:
o Engineering Manager — enabling efficient product development through
scalable delivery tooling and continuous deployment practices
o Technical Program Manager — providing DevOps inputs to program
planning, release engineering schedules, and production readiness
o QA Manager — supporting automation, environments, test infrastructure,
and observability for continuous assurance of platform quality
  • Drive Disaster Recovery and resiliency programs:
o Architect DR strategy
o Implement continuous readiness testing
o Maintain performance within committed RTO/RPO objectives
  • Operate in a multi-region, multi-tenant, high-availability environment with strict
SLAs.
  • Create and execute DevOps roadmap aligned to the product and platform
roadmap.
  • Govern and manage external DevOps consultants with clear scope, SOW clarity,
budget control, and quality accountability.
  • Champion GenAI-assisted DevOps productivity, including:
o Intelligent automation of pipelines and runbooks
o AI-driven analysis of deployments, logs, and incidents
o ChatOps-driven operational insights and support
  • Lead DORA metrics adoption and accelerate deployment velocity and reliability.
  • Maintain runbooks, operational documentation, DR playbooks, and compliance
artifacts.
  • Mentor and coach engineering peers — with career progression to manage the
DevOps function as the org scales.

Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years DevOps / SRE / Cloud Engineering experience
  • Expert hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, EKS/ECS, VPC, IAM, Lambda,
CloudWatch, RDS, Route53, etc.)
  • Strong IaC experience (Terraform is a must)
  • CI/CD tooling expertise (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.)
  • Production operations experience with incident response and on-call
  • Knowledge of networking, security controls, TLS/mTLS, service meshes
  • Hands-on monitoring/alerting systems such as PagerDuty, Datadog, AWS X-Ray
OpenSearch
  • AWS certification required (e.g., DevOps Pro, Solutions Architect Associate)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with payment platforms, financial systems, or regulated industries
  • Background in PCI DSS compliance controls and audit support
  • Application performance engineering (K6, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • GenAI (Bedrock, ChatGPT, MLOps integration, or related workflows)
  • MongoDB Atlas, Postgres performance and scaling experience
