Lead Estimator

Job Purpose

The Lead Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project specifications, and company profitability goals. The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in fit-out estimating; applications without relevant experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities) for fit-out projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to solicit competitive quotes and negotiate pricing.
• Collaborate with the design, project management, and procurement teams to ensure estimate accuracy and feasibility.
• Identify potential risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options during the estimation process.
• Present estimates to management and stakeholders with clear breakdowns and justifications.
• Maintain a database of historical costs, rates, and materials for future reference.
• Review project variations and provide updated cost assessments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and client requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Estimator, with a focus on interior fit-out projects (e.g., commercial, hospitality, retail, or residential fit-outs).
• Proven track record of preparing successful estimates for fit-out projects of varying scale and complexity.
• Deep understanding of fit-out materials, methodologies, sequences, and market rates.
• Strong knowledge of local pricing trends, suppliers, and subcontractors in the fit-out industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Driver’s License (DL) is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
