Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the estimating process for large-scale infrastructure tenders, including roads, bridges, tunnels, utilities, and industrial facilities.
  • Analyze tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather input data and validate assumptions.
  • Develop detailed BOQs, cost breakdowns, and pricing strategies that align with commercial and contractual requirements.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options during the bid phase.
  • Support the Tender Manager and commercial team in preparing high-quality, competitive submissions.
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier enquiries, quotations, and evaluations.
  • Ensure cost databases and estimating tools are continuously updated and optimized.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in cost estimation or tendering within infrastructure or heavy civil construction.
  • Proven success in estimating for complex EPC, Design & Build, or PPP infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract frameworks.
  • Proficiency in estimation and tendering software (e.g., Candy, CostX, Excel, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
