Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Lead Generator that has the tools and knowledge to find and qualify potential customers. This person will help drive our sales efforts focused on providing payment card solutions (credit, debit, prepaid, digital, and specialty cards) to banks and financial institutions. Working primarily from our office (or remotely), you’ll manage inbound and outbound leads, build relationships with key contacts at financial institutions, and help advance sales opportunities from initial outreach through to proposal support and closing in partnership with the field sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and engage prospective banking clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings to promote our payment card solutions.
  • Inbound Sales: Manage inbound inquiries and follow up on marketing-generated leads to qualify sales opportunities.
  • Support Field Sales: Support end-to-end sales cycles by coordinating meetings, preparing proposals, and assisting with contracts.
  • Follow-ups: Develop and nurture relationships with contacts at banks, credit unions, and fintech companies.
  • Pipeline: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline activity using CRM tools.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in lead generation, inside sales or business development, preferably in payments, fintech, or banking.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage prospects via phone and email.
  • Familiarity with payment cards (credit, debit, prepaid), digital payments, or financial services a strong asset.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting sales to banks, credit unions, or financial service providers.
  • Familiarity with card manufacturing, personalization, or payment network standards (Visa, Mastercard) is an advantage.
  • Previous work in a high-volume, lead generation environment.
